Wilson Yen was born and raised in Taiwan. He received his electrical engineering Bachelor degree from the National Taiwan University, and his engineering Master degree from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Because he is interested in leading engineering projects and running business, Wilson also accomplished his Master degree of business management along with the PhD in engineering from the University of Florida.

He started his career from the R&D role and then moved into the product development role responsible for leading the projects and supporting the sales and marketing teams in various famous international companies such as Texas Instrument, Bosch and TE connectivity. He also involved the manufacturing operation and gained great experience of the new product initiatives (NPI) process in Apple Inc. for Apple Watch product and secret project development. After accumulating deep and broad experience of engineering, operations and supply chain in his early career, Wilson decided to pursue his best interest role of product management responsible for managing and growing the business revenue, engaging and supporting customers to increase the market share and developing the market strategy to ensure the business win.

Dr. Yen is currently serving as a Sr. product manager in the semiconductor industry.
